We spent the weekend on a short trip to Petra, the site of an ancient Nabatean city a few hours south of Amman. We had originally hoped to drive to Jordan, making our way through Syria, but obtaining entry visas remains a challenge for US passport holders. We instead flew into Amman. Enjoy the photos.
